Identity intrigues me. The development of it, the changes it undergoes in the duration of life, the way it can be build up or broken down, the way it is so intensely personal and how it can be represented visually. The identity of people, relationships and the influence of society especially.
These different notions of identity are what shape the concept of my work, I research it thoroughly and find a fitting visualisation of this notion - in whatever form or shape.

So far, I have especially investigated the identity of healthy food, marginalised groups, Christianity, myself, Romantic notions, beauty ideals and (small) organisations or companies.
In these subjects I take a personal point of view and aim to educate, help and inspire others by showing my objective truth - and encouraging them to create their own interpretation.

Next to that, I have a somewhat strange obsession with everything gold and insects. I am happiest when I am deep in research getting epiphanies, having deep conversations, or curled up in a warm place reading a book or watching a series.
I am crazy about animals and do little dances -sometimes physically, other times mentally- when I eat really good food or hear sweet music.
